Community Support Worker
Help participants engage with their local community, develop life skills and enjoy meaningful social experiences.
Migara Care is seeking caring and enthusiastic Community Support Workers to assist participants in accessing their local community, developing everyday skills and participating in meaningful social and recreational activities.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Support participants to access community activities and events.
- Assist with social and recreational participation.
- Encourage development of confidence and independence.
- Support participants with everyday life skills.
- Assist with transport and community access where required.
- Follow individual support plans and participant preferences.
- Maintain professional communication and documentation.
What We're Looking For
Requirements
- Experience working with people with disability is desirable.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and flexible approach to work.
- Current driver's licence is desirable.
- Relevant support qualification is preferred.
- Commitment to person-centred support.
- Willingness to complete required screening checks.
