Psychosocial Recovery Coach
Empower participants living with psychosocial disabilities to build confidence, independence and achieve their recovery goals.
Migara Care is seeking a compassionate Psychosocial Recovery Coach to work alongside participants and support them in building confidence, developing skills, strengthening community connections and progressing towards their individual recovery goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside participants to identify strengths, goals and aspirations.
- Provide practical support that promotes independence and confidence.
- Assist participants in developing everyday living skills.
- Encourage meaningful community participation and social connection.
- Support participants to work towards their recovery goals.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and progress records.
- Collaborate with families, support coordinators and other professionals where appropriate.
Requirements
- Experience supporting people with psychosocial disabilities or mental health-related needs.
- Relevant qualification in community services, mental health or a related field is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and non-judgemental approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Current driver's licence.
- Willingness to complete required screening and compliance checks.
